Christopher James Sexton, age 49, passed away on June 19, 2017. He was the beloved son of Randall and Selma Sexton. Chris was a graduate of Westside High School. He also was a graduate of The Citadel, Class of 1990, where he was the senior class president and the recipient of the John O. Wilson Ring. During his career he was a successful banker and later went into sales. He led the group that built Fafard to $100 million dollars. He led a $30 million dollar business group and did post graduate studies in France. His charm and magnetic personality touched many lives. He was a member of NewSpring and had just recently re-dedicated his life to the Lord. He was a beloved brother to Randy (Beth) Sexton. He was a beloved father to Kalli (Logan) Queen, Cameron Sexton and Caroline Sexton. He dearly loved his family. He was formerly married for 24 years to Trina Sexton Sherman. All who knew him loved him. The memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, June 23, 2017 at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tom Haren and Pastor Brady Smith officiating. Scott Moore and Lee Orvin will also be taking part in the service for Chris. The families will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:30pm on Friday at the funeral home.
