Charles Albert Johnson, age 64, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022, at his residence. Born June 9, 1958, in Anderson, SC, he was a son of the late Harold Johnson and the late Sylvene and Marvin Smith. For 35 years, Chuck was a construction contractor. He spent leisure time collecting assorted items for those he loved. He loved his dogs, Jack, Coco, and Gizmo, flea markets, NASCAR, yard sales and was incredibly supportive to several charity organizations. Chuck is survived by his children Michael E. Johnson of Anderson, SC, Amanda M. Johnson of Knoxville, TN and Samantha Moore of Moorehead, KY; brothers, Billy Johnson and Casey Johnson; aunt, Margaret (Mitchell) Wright; eight grandchildren, Trace Moore, Tristen Moore, Nevaeh Johnson, Bristol Johnson, Ayden Hamet, Charles Johnson, Marshall Johnson, and Emma Johnson; former wife, Cathy Duc; and girlfriend Amy Howard. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Diane Johnson and nephew, Steven Holloway. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 3:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.
