Obituary
Clara Louise "Granny" Franklin, 91, of Anderson, SC, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at NHC Healthcare Andeson.
Born May 26, 1933, in Greenville County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Welborn Columbus McClellan and the late Ruby Mauldin McClellan. Clara was also preceded in death by her half-brother, Stanley McClellan.
She is survived by her sons, Frederick Franklin and David Franklin (Malinka).
The family will greet friends and family on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Reverend Dwight Greene officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels of Anderson, PO Box 285, Anderson, SC 29622 or Anderson County PAWS, 1329 Hwy 29, Anderson, SC 29626.
