McClellan, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011, at NHC Healthcare in Anderson.Born in Fair Play, SC on April 15, 1932, Mrs. McClellan was a daughter of the late Henry J. Davis and Bessie Oakley Davis. She retired from Haynesworth Mill with 42 years of service and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughter, Brenda York and her husband, William of Starr; two grandsons, Allen and Brian York; three great-grandchildren, Jesse, Emilee and Lane York; sisters, Kate Bowen and Inez Patterson, both of Anderson.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Joann Keasler and Elisa Hill.A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 2:00 pm at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Tony Smith officiating. The family will be at the residence, 2218 Whitehall Road and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm.Flowers are optional.
