LEE March 24, 1926 - September 11, 2005ANDERSON, SCMrs. Clara Bell Watkins Lee, age 79, of 114 Sanders Street, Anderson, SC, died Sunday, September 11, 2005 at the Anderson Area Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Amos Oscar Watkins and Mamie Donaldson Watkins. She was retired from Wamsutta Mill and was a former employee of Anderson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Poplar Spring Baptist Church in Iva, SC.Survivors include sons, Grady E. Allen of Piedmont, SC and Roger D. Allen of Anderson, SC; a daughter, Doris M. Hart of Simpsonville, SC; a brother, Ernest Watkins of Decatur, GA and sisters, Arlene Vickery of Greenwood, SC and Ella Mae Machen of Iva, SC; eleven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James B. Allen and John D. Lee; a son, James Jerry Allen; two brothers, Sylvester Watkins and Grady Watkins and a sister, Margie Hawkins.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home by the Reverend Curtis Lanier.
