CLARA BELL WLSON May 6, 1908 - June 21, 2008CENTENARIAN ANDERSON, SCMrs. Clara Bell Bailey Wilson, age 100, of Anderson, SC, wife of the late Alvin Oscar Wilson, died Saturday, June 21, 2008 at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Hartwell, GA on May 6, 1908, Mrs. Wilson was a daughter of the late William Henry Bailey and Laura Myrtice Gurley Bailey. She was the oldest member of Oakwood Baptist Church, the Alathean Sunday School Class and was a homemaker.Survivors include her son, Larry D. Wilson and his wife, Carolyn; daughter, Ann Wilson Kyzer and her husband, Jerry; brother, F. O. Bailey and his wife, Nell; sister, Eleanor Bailey Grant, all of Anderson; seven grandchildren, Catherine Wilson Sanders, Stephen Larry Wilson, Tracy Kyzer McCall, Kendrick Alvin Wilson, Howard Trent Kyzer, Roger Dean Wilson and Tara Kyzer Moore; ten great-grandchildren, Garrison Graham Foster, Sara Ann Robison, Matthew Kendrick Wilson, Brent Howard Foster, Dorothy Claire Robison, Cullen August Foster, Alexander Pierce Wilson, Abigail Deeley Robison, Isaac Clifton Moore and Audrey Lynn Moore.In addition to her parents and husband of 60 years, Mrs. Wilson was predeceased by her brothers, Eber Bailey, Denver Bailey, Sid Bailey, Gerald Bailey and her sisters, Cora Ayers, Lessie Powell, Ruby Vickery and Judy Wilson.The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Brent Armstrong and Darren Rood. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park officiated by the Reverend Paul Brown.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 22, 2008 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.The family will be at their respective homes.
