Clare Marie Harp Kimball, age 89, of Anderson, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 6, 2024, at her home.

Born November 29, 1934, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Harp and Mary Murphy Harp. She was the last surviving member of her 12 siblings. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Kimball; and two sons, Greg Kimball and Denis Kimball.

Clare was a veteran of the United States Navy. She was an administrative assistant with many businesses over the years before ending her career with the City of Anderson. She was baptized in the Catholic Church and kept her faith close to her heart. She enjoyed puzzles, drawing, and other artwork. Clare loved her family immensely and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by six children, George Kimball (Donna), Jerry Kimball (Theressa), Kevin Kimball, Mary Brady (Kevin), Bill Kimball, and Chris Kimball; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Friday, May 31, 2024, at 1:00 pm at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
