CLARENCE TERRY December 22, 1925 - June 23, 2008PENDLETON, SCMr. Clarence Eugene Terry, age 82 of 700 Greenville Street, husband of the late Irene Brown Terry, died Monday, June 23, 2008 at the Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, SC.Born in Anderson County, SC on December 22, 1925, Mr. Terry was a son of the late Henry Clay Terry and Vinnie Bolt Terry. He was a United States Army World War II and Korean War Combat Veteran and retired from Mount Vernon Mills in LaFrance, SC. He was a member of Faith Fellowship in Pendleton, SC.Survivors include his son, Wayne E. Terry and his wife, Lynn of Seneca; daughter, Nancy Cartee and her husband, Alan of Pendleton, SC; son-in-law, Donald White of Anderson, SC; brothers, Joe Terry and his wife, Carolyn of Central, SC and James Terry and his wife, Barbara of Seneca, SC; sister, Shelby Jean Riggins and her husband, James 'Curley' of Pendleton, SC; four grandsons; two granddaughters; three step grandsons; two great grandsons and one step great-grandson. He is also survived by a special friend, Madge Hix. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Laura Terry White; two brothers, Henry Clay Terry Jr., and Oscar Terry; and two sisters, Evelyn Rochester and Mary Lois Stewart.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 11:00 am at Faith Fellowship in Pendleton officiated by the Reverends Delano McMinn and Brett Aiken. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Clemson, SC.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Mr. Terry will be placed in the church at 10:00 am on Thursday.The family will be at their respective homes.Flowers are optional.
