CLARICE TURNER November 11, 1921 - December 10, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Clarice Chambers Turner, age 85, of 424 Brook Forest Drive, Anderson, SC, wife of the late Clyde Clifford Turner, died Sunday, December 10, 2006 at the Hospice House in Anderson, SC.Born in Anderson County, SC on November 11, 1921, Mrs. Turner was a daughter of the late Joseph Carroll Chambers and Dosha Elizabeth Beck Chambers. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church and the Hope Sunday School class. She was a homemaker and the last surviving member of her immediate family.Survivors include her son, Roger E. Turner and his wife, Louise; her daughter, Elizabeth 'Libby' Turner Holbrooks and her husband, Dan, all of Anderson, SC; four grandchildren, Michael Holbrooks and his wife, Sheron, Lisa Bloom and her husband, Ron, Mallie Majarais and her husband, Michael and Meredith Turner; six great-grandchildren, Brandon Lowe, Alissa Bloom, Katelin Bloom, Colby Holbrooks, Ally Bloom and Oliver Majarais. Brother-in-law, Levis Burton and sister-in-law, Christine Taylor also survive.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Clyde, Troy, Ernest and J. D. Chambers and sister, Inez Burton.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Richard Burton Interment will follow in New Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.The family will be at their respective homes.
