Shaw, 73, husband of Eva Campbell Shaw of 3709 Mabry Street, died Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born July 23, 1936, in Anderson County, SC, he was the son of the late John W. and Allie Lance Shaw. He retired from textiles with over 40 years of service having worked at Orr Lyons Mill and Chiquola Mill in Honea Path. Surviving in addition to his wife of 53 years are: daughter, Claudette Lewis and husband, Robert of Anderson; sons, John Shaw, Kevin Shaw and wife, Tammy and Michael Shaw, all of Anderson; brother, Jim Shaw and sister, Betty Sue Adams of Anderson; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Shaw and Carl Shaw; sisters, Ethel Grant and Kathleen Shaw and grandsons, Scotty Wallace and Danny Shaw.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend U. C. Neill.
