CLAUDIA CLINKSCALES January 8, 1930 - October 9, 2008ANDERSON, SCMrs. Claudia Ruth Clinkscales, age 78, of 3337 Berry Lane, wife of the late Paul Clinkscales, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on January 8, 1930, Mrs. Clinkscales was a daughter of the late Eugene and Bessie Phillips Brown. She was a graduate of Girls' High School and a homemaker.Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy Clinkscales of Belton; sisters, Frances Stamps and Dora Brown, both of Anderson; grandson, Kenneth Phillips and his wife, Angie of Belton and granddaughter, Tina Compton of Belton and one great-granddaughter, Katelyn Rose Phillips.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Betty Mackey, brothers; James Marion Brown, Willie Lee Brown and Robert Eugene Brown; sister Margaret Brown and granddaughter, Destiny Logann Crittendon.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Iva First Assembly of God officiated by the Reverends Tony Tilley and Helen Davis. Interment will follow in Iva City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
