Cleo Wright Anders, age 92, of Iva, SC, loving wife to the late Robert Hoover Anders, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022, at Iva Health and Rehabilitation. Born March 11, 1930, in Tampa, FL, she was the daughter of the late Wade Charles Wright and Floretta Brown Wright. Cleo retired from textiles. She loved to clean, enjoyed living on the lake, and venturing to yard sales and finding a good bargain. She was a member of Iva Community Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Thompson, Bonita Craft, and Debbie Dover; three grandchildren, Patrick Thompson (Pam), Jonathan Thompson (Nicole), and Kristin Stone; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers; one sister; and a granddaughter, Linda Craft. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 24, 2022, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kyle Caudell officiating. The committal service will follow at Iva Community Wesleyan Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. George Brassard. The family will be at the home of her daughter Patricia.
