THOMPSON April 14, 1916 - September 9, 2005ANDERSON, SCMrs. Cleo Montez Hampton Thompson, age 89, formerly of Anderson, SC, and wife of the late Roy Glen Thompson, died Friday, September 09, 2005 at Riverside Nursing Center in Piedmont, SC.Born in Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Charles Lester Hampton and Velma May Aires Hampton. She was retired from textiles and was a member of Broadway Lake Baptist Church.She is survived by daughters, Mary Sue Watson of Williamston, SC, Sarah Euratha White of Nevada, Sheila White of Anderson, SC, Teresa Price of Maxeys, GA, Debra King of Anderson, SC and Polly Lyles of Iva, SC; brothers, Clyde Hampton, Frank Hampton and Herbert Hampton, all of Anderson, SC; sisters, Pearl Moore of Anderson, SC, Mildred LeWallen and Ruby Bowen, both of Greer, SC; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Lois Simpson, Della Hampton and Allie Fowler.Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2005 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home by the Reverend Early Tucker.
