The McDougald Funeral Home and Cremation Services 2211 North Main Street Anderson, SC 29621 864-224-4343 Obituary ANDERSON, SC CLETE SANDERS July 2, 1962 - November 17, 2012 Brennan Carl Clete Sanders, age 50, of 118 Swain Street, passed away at AnMed Health Center on Saturday, November 17, 2012. Born in Anderson, he was a son of Grady E. Sanders of Anderson, and the late Patricia Black Sanders. Clete was a graduate of T. L. Hanna High School, Class of 1980, where he was a member of the Wrestling Team. By profession he was a licensed Environmental Well Driller. He was a lover of animals, and he was particularly fond of his beloved dog and companion, Evo. Clete was an avid softball player and enjoyed bowling. He was a member of Orrville Baptist Church. In addition to his father, Grady, he is survived by 3 daughters, Crissy Sanders (Paul), Whitney Sanders, and Danielle Sanders Hill (Jordan); brothers, Matt Sanders (Caren) of Pendleton, Kit Sanders (Cyndy) of Anderson; sister, Amy Sanders Coleman (Scott) of Anderson; 5 Grandchildren, Tyler, Caleb, Lilli, Haylee and Tamlyn; Nephews, Browder, Aden, and John; Nieces, Leah and Carter; the mothers of his children, Audrey and Renee, and a very good friend, Larry Hollis. In addition to his mother, Clete was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Aden and Marie Black, and paternal grandparents, Myrel and Louise Sanders. A Graveside Service to celebrate and honor the life of Clete Sanders will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at 2 PM, at Old Silver Brook Cemetery, with Rev. Dr. Jack Couch officiating. The family will be at the residence of Grady Sanders, 2400 Lindale Road, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home Tuesday, November 20, 2012, from 6 PM until 8 PM.
