Clyde Seawright Manley, Jr., age 74, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.

Born August 20, 1949, in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late Clyde Seawright Manley and Lois Inez Manley. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sara Jane Manley; brothers, James Oral Manley and Thomas Mull; and sister, Cynthia Staton.

Clyde was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam War. He formerly worked for the Greenville Housing Authority. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and fishing and also enjoyed creating artwork, specifically drawing. Clyde was raised in the Church of God faith.

He is survived by daughters, Amy Six (Alan) and Krystal Atkinson; siblings Sam Manley (Lori), Barbara Wright (David), Sara Taylor, David Manley (Crystal), and Robert Manley; and grandchildren Virginia Six and Jasmine Six.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 11:00 am until 12:15 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service with military honors will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
