Concepcion Amora Roxas, age 57, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Cebu, Philippines on June 21, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Eutique Amora and the late Perpetua Otom Amora. Concepcion loved her family and friends. She also loved her Philippine community. She attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons, Hendrix, Jefferson, and Julius Roxas, all of the Philippines; daughters, Haideelou Roxas, of the Philippines, Hanillyn Thomason of Anderson, and Ruth Roxas also of Anderson; sisters, Cory Martinez, Mary Lou DeLa Cerna, and Lillian Nanay, all of the Philippines; and 15 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Roxas; and a daughter, Iris Olaman. Visitation will take place at The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, January 2, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Philip Gillespie officiating. Entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 2323 Highway 81 North, Anderson, SC 29621. The family will receive friends following the entombment at The Wexford Condominium Club House, 100 Wexford Dr, Anderson, SC 29621. Flowers will be accepted.
