Connie Ann Smith Moncrief, age 76, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023, at her home. Born September 13, 1946, in Royston, GA, she was a daughter of the late Grady Smith and Azalea Mason Smith. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Tony English. Connie was an inspector in the textile industry. She was a great cook, enjoyed reading and tending her flowers. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She was a member of Trinity Springs Church of God. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Dickson (Mark); brother, Doug Smith; sisters, Susan Honea and Elaine McCoy; grandchildren, Preston Dickson (Cathryn) and Jessica Hayes (Buck); and great grandchildren, Katie Sue Dickson, Dawson, Jackson, and Brylee Hayes, and two on the way. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 12:00-1:00 pm at Green Pond Baptist Church. The memorial service will begin at 1:15 pm with Rev. James Petty officiating.
