Ola Cornelia David Entrekin, age 95, of Starr, SC, peacefully entered her heavenly home on Monday, December 30, 2024.

She was the daughter of the late Julian Miles David and Maude Mitchell David of Starr. She was married for 60 years to her husband Wilton "Bud" Luther Entrekin until his death in 2010. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Ronald David Entrekin; brother, Julian Miles David, Jr.; sisters, Ruth Scoggins and Katherine Dean; and great grandson, Caleb Taylor.

Cornelia was a long-time member of Flat Rock Baptist Church and was a graduate of Forest College. She worked in the textile industry for many years and was a substitute teacher for Anderson School District Five. She devoted her life for her family and church.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and leaves behind her sister, Linda Shaw of Anderson; children, Amelia Giles (Johnny) of Starr, Shirley Taylor of Anderson, Gerald Entrekin (Melanie) of Shelbyville, KY, Debbie McGee (Mark) of Guntersville, Al, and David Entrekin of Starr; grandchildren, Amanda Giles, Stephanie Sole, Steven Westhead, Heather Cobb, Kerwren Dyar, Ryan Entrekin, Caitlyn Entrekin, Patrick McGee, Zackary McGee, and Ian McGee; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 5:30-7:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 11:00 am at Flat Rock Baptist Church, 908 Flat Rock Rd., Anderson, SC 29624, with Rev. Ed Hunsinger officiating. Burial will follow at Starr Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of her daughter, Amelia Giles.
