Corrine Harbin Moore Starr, SC Corrine Harbin Moore, age 97, of Starr, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Grady Harbin and the late Leddy Stasny Harbin. She worked at Appleton Mill for many years as the head grader. She enjoyed baking delicious cakes for the community since the age of 13. Corrine was an active member of Starr Baptist Church as long as her health permitted, she was also a faithful member of the choir. She is survived by her son, Edwin Eugene Moore and his wife Christine, of Starr; her daughter, Rachel Moore Fowler, of Starr; a sister, Helen Harbin Franks Craft, of Anderson; 10 grandchildren, Melissa Davis, Allyson Bowen, Ramanda Moore, Lisa Hart, Tonya Fowler, Angie Hunter, Curtis Moore, Jeremiah Moore, Jan Harvey and Dawn Moore; 17 grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Marion Moore, Sr.; two sons, John Marion Moore, Jr., Curtis D. Moore; a son-in-law, Jimmie L. Fowler; a daughter-in-law, Shirley R. Moore; grandsons, Grady Lane Fowler, and Barry Lee Fowler; and sisters, Ethel H. Cromer and Rosa H. McAlister. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Starr Baptist Church with Reverend Tony Howell and Reverend Dale Hart officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be at the home of Eddie and Christine Moore, 121 Rhody Farm Road, and will receive friends at the church, prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Starr Baptist Church Family Life Center, 115 Stones Throw Avenue, Starr, SC 29684.
