Johnson, Jr., age 74, husband of Thelma Hall Johnson, lost his battle with cancer on January 31, 2012, at Sierra Providence Hospital in El Paso, TX.Born in Lenoir City, TN, Mr. Johnson was the son of the late Cyril B. Johnson, Sr., and Pauline Clark Johnson. He served 30 years in the United States Army, and was a graduate of the Sergeant Major Academy. Mr. Johnson also served as an Intelligence Analyst for Civil Service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lenoir City, TN.In addition to his wife of 52 years, he is survived by sons: Cyril B. Johnson, III of San Antonio, TX and Craig B. Johnson (Peggy) of Daytona , FL; brothers: Bill Don Johnson of Spartanburg, SC and John Wesley Johnson (Barbara) of Lenoir City, TN; sisters: Jackie Thompson (Bill), Judy Johnson (Dick) and Pat Cook (Gary), all of Lenoir City, TN; 5 grandchildren: Cyril B. Johnson, IV and Matthew Johnson of NC, Craig A. Johnson, Erica Johnson, and Courtney Johnson of FL, and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Clark 'Buster' Johnson.A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012, at 3:30 pm at the M. J. Dolly Cooer Veterans Cemetery with full Military Honors.
