Curtis Jean Peebles Humphrey, 86, of Townville, SC, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Rainey Hospice House. Born December 25, 1932 in Crittenden, Ky, she was a daughter of the late Donald L. Peebles and Ethel Lee Dunn Peebles. Curtis was married to the late Bob Humphrey and lived in Los Angeles, CA, for many years. They then moved to Walton, KY living there for several years and lastly happily residing in Anderson, SC for over 35 years. She worked along with her husband as a dog trainer and breeder and had the honor of serving as a National Dog Show Judge. She was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church. Curtis is survived by her cousin Richard Peebles (Barbara) of Walton, Ky.; and friends, Bill and Mona Clary of Townville, SC. A graveside service will be held at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2019 with Rev. Tim Marcingill officiating.
