Curtis William Martin, age 92, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024, at his home.

Born January 6, 1932, in Anderson, he was the son of the late DeWitt Martin and Martha Bailey Martin. He was also preceded in death by a stepson, Allen Hammond; stepdaughter, Amy Soto; sister, Juanita Frances Wilson; and baby brother, Rudolph Martin.

Curtis was retired from BASF. He loved to watch baseball and football with a special affinity for the Atlanta Braves and Clemson Tigers. He enjoyed collecting coins and clocks and completing crossword puzzles. But his most favorite thing to do was watch television.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Sisk Martin; stepdaughter, Angel Cleveland; nephew, Darrell Wilson; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 1:30 pm at Old Silver Brook Cemetery with Rev. Mike Harrell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family will be at the home.
