Curtiss Reed Davis, age 91, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Brookdale Anderson. Born in Anderson, SC, on February 12, 1925 he was the son of the late William Jasper and Lula Ann Wells Davis. Curt retired from Sears with 30 years of service. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a faithful member of Orrville Baptist Church where he was a Deacon Emeritus, and former Sunday School and Training Union Teacher. He also enjoyed singing in the choir for many years. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Alyce M. Davis; a sister, Colleen Timms; and many nieces and nephews. The Graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Wendell Bannister officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
