Ciro, "Cy" Gregory, age 95, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at his home. Born in New York City, NY, on October 12, 1921, he was the son of the late Costabile DiGregorio and his mother Raffaella DiBiasi DiGregorio. Cy was an aerospace mechanic for the United States Army Air Corp during World War II. He was a microwave communications engineering pioneer for NASA with RCA. He later settled in Anderson, where he worked for the Singer Sewing Machine Company. He is survived by two sons, Robert (Denise) Gregory, of Kirkland, WA and Steven of Anderson, SC; two grandchildren, Elliot Gregory, and Emily (James) Farr; and two great-grandsons, James Vincent and Milo Blu Farr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine "Jo" Pescatore Gregory. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 beginning at 9:30 a.m. with the Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held at a later date at M.J.
