CLAMP OCTOBER 11, 1955 - MARCH 1, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Cynthia Ferguson Clamp, age 57, wife of Oscar Keys Clamp Jr., went home to be with her heavenly father, after a courageous battle with leukemia. Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Robert Townes Ferguson and the late Sara Martin Ferguson. Mrs. Clamp was a retired telecommunications operator with AnMed Health Medical Center. She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church and a member of the Zion United Methodist Women's Association and The John Wesley Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband of 39 years and their children, Robert W. Clamp and Melinda A. Clamp, both of Anderson, SC; sisters, Alma Martin and Cathy Stewart; brother, Clarence Ferguson, all of Anderson, SC; several nieces and nephews and a large church family; and her three grand puppies, Snowball, Smudge and Goldilocks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers; Randolph, Harold, Benjamin, and Dennis Ferguson; one sister, Mary Maw. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 4:00 pm at Zion United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Dr. Shawn Armstrong and Reverend Jeff Roper officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Clamp will be placed in the Church at 3:00 pm. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.
