Cynthia Ann Chastain Padget, age 74, wife of Henry Nathaniel Padget, of 3106 Bethel Road #73, Simpsonville, SC, died Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at her residence.Born on January 6, 1937, in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late James Alvin Chastain and Mabel Bowen Chastain. She was a 1955 Girl's High graduate and studied at the Carolina School of Commerce. She was a secretary for many years before retiring from the Belk Group office in Greenville, SC. Along with her husband, she enjoyed traveling and was an avid Clemson fan.She is survived by her husband; her son, Jonathan Padget and partner, Scott Wells, Washington, DC; her daughter, Shawn Snead and her husband, Keith, Greenwood and three grandchildren, Edward, Andrew and Kathleen Snead.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Gloria Sargent.The Memorial Service will be Saturday, February 19, 2011, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Don Cavin officiating.
