DAISY SIMPSON DACUS November 11, 1944 - October 2, 2013 La France, SC Daisy Simpson Dacus, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Furman Simpson and the late Dolly Willis Simpson. She worked in textiles for many years. Daisy attended First Baptist Church of La France. She is survived by her husband, Larry Dacus, of the home; and two sons, Glen and his wife Debbie and Rodney Dacus and his wife Tonya, all of La France, SC; and four grandchildren, Brint, Debra, Jesse and Cheyanne Dacus, all of La France, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Joseph Simpson. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 12:30 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Pastor Albert Couch officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Clemson. The family will be at the home of Rodney Dacus, 13 Circle Street, La France, SC, and will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
