DAMAN PAUL STRICKLAND October 25, 1956 - June 19, 2006ANDERSON, SCMr. Daman Paul Strickland, age 49, of 611 Asaville Church Road, died Monday, June 19, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Dover, Delaware on October 25, 1956, Mr. Strickland was a son of Kate Brown Stamps of Anderson and the late Hermon Paul Strickland. He was a graduate of McDuffie High School and was formerly employed with Frigidaire Company. He was a member of the Confederate Motorcycle Club.He is survived by his mother, Kate Brown Stamps and step-father, James W. Stamps of Anderson; son, Daman Paul Strickland, Jr., of South Carolina and Robbie Mosley of Anderson; daughter, Crystal Ann Strickland of the home; brothers, Mark Paul Strickland of Anderson; step-brother, Jerry Stamps of Anderson; two grandchildren and special friend, Pam Ashley of Anderson.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gaylan Paul Strickland and a step-sister, Donna Sue Adams.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Sam Duncan. Interment will follow in New Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the home of his mother, Kate Brown Stamps, 525 Harmony Road, Anderson, SCFlowers are optional.
