Daniel Lee McMahan, age 60, of 700 W. Fredericks St., Anderson, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born July 18, 1959 in Anderson County, SC, Dan was a son of the late Jimmie McMahan and Margaret Simpson McMahan. He was a graduate of Crescent High School and attended Anderson University earning a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He worked for the Department of Social Services for the State of South Carolina. He later worked for Eckard Connect and for the Coca-Cola Company. He attended Second Chance Church. Dan is survived by his loving wife, Margaret "Maggie" McKinney McMahan of the home; step-daughter, Brandi Marie Reedy of Columbia, SC; brother, John McMahan (Linda) of Simpsonville, SC; niece, Amber McMahan; step-grandson, Sterling Jones of Columbia, SC; and other aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will be at the residence. Following cremation, a celebration of Dan's life will be scheduled by the family at a later date.
