Daniel C. Wardlaw, age 79, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at his home. Born in Anderson, SC on March 8, 1939, he was the son of the late W.C. Wardlaw and the late Elizabeth Taylor Wardlaw. Dan's life was his letter to those who knew him. He lived his life in service for others. He was a lifetime member of Refuge Baptist Church and was faithful in his walk with his Lord, Jesus Christ. He was truly a silent giant. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sue Wardlaw; two children, Kim Huntley (Kevin) and Scot Wardlaw (Rebekah); and two wonderful grandchildren, Carly Huntley and Cade Wardlaw. He was a wonderful husband, dad, and grandfather. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Cameron Huntley; and a brother, William Isaiah Wardlaw. The family will receive friends at Refuge Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Joe Pace and Reverend Heath Bowie officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
