Daniel Anatoly Odeychuk, age 28, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023. Born May 15, 1995, in Rochester, NY, he was the son of Anatoly Odeychuk and Ludmila Yaromich Odeychuk. Daniel was a graduate of Greece Athena High School Class of 2013. He worked in construction, working with stucco & then became a skilled carpenter. He helped many people with their home renovations. He was a mentor to his younger brother Eric, teaching him everything he knows about construction. Daniel was a Jack of all trades and had amazing qualities that would make him a great construction project manager. Daniel attended Freedom in Christ Center in Asheville, NC. He served at those centers to help others who struggled with similar problems. Daniel dedicated his life to the Lord by water baptism in November 2015. Daniel attended God Will Provide Bible School in 2016, in Portland, Oregon. After, he dedicated one year of his life to mission work in Panama, serving the people of Kunayala island. There Daniel helped build a church. Daniel was well known by many throughout the country. Many described him as the funniest person they knew. Daniel was known for his generosity & his kindness. He had a passion for food and loved to cook for others. Some of his hobbies included fishing and snowboarding. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Mark Odeychuk (Nadia) of Rochester, NY, Eric Odeychuk (Lena) of Asheville, NC, Dennis Odeychuk of Anderson, SC, and Anthony Odeychuk of Anderson, SC; sister, Amy Odeychuk of Anderson, SC; nephew Matthew Odeychuk; and niece, Simona Odeychuk. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Arthur Odeychuk. The family will receive friends Friday, August 25, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 10:00 am at New Silver Brook Cemetery with Pastor Piotr Nestertsov officiating.
