He attended Nevitt Forest Elementary School, Seneca Middle School and Seneca High School. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Seneca, SC.He is survived by his mother, Suzanne Simpson Richardson and step-father, George Richardson of Seneca, SC; father, Daniel Burnice Powell of Anderson, SC; grandparents, Pat L. Simpson and Earline F. Simpson of Anderson; Burnice Powell and Maggie Powell of Anderson, SC and Kenneth Richardson and Louise Richardson of Seneca, SC.He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Rev. R. Fred and Reba Fowler.A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 27, 2006 at 3:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, SC officiated by Rev. Sam Chasteen, Rev. Billy Ray Whitfield and Rev. Mark Dickson.
