DANNY BRUCE ALBERTSON September 28, 1950 - November 2, 2012 Danny Bruce Albertson, age 62, of 15 North Prince Street, passed away at his residence on Friday, November 2, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Frank Albertson, Sr. and the late Lora Mae Hicks Albertson. By profession, he was a carpenter and project foreman in the construction business. His children and grandchildren were the greatest joy of his life, and he loved them very much. Survivors include 2 daughters, April Marie Albertson of Anderson and Kimberly Berry and her husband Billy of Williamston; 3 brothers, Gerald Albertson of Anderson, Michael Albertson and his wife, Barbara, of Anderson, and Jim Albertson and his wife, Gertrude, of Athens, GA; 1 sister, Brenda Albertson of Anderson; 6 grandchildren, Daniel Tyler Albertson, Nicholas Albertson, Chase Maxwell, Alexander Berry, Ashley Berry, and Lindsey Maxwell. In addition to his parents, Mr. Albertson was preceded in death by brothers, Frank, Walter, Cecil and Tony Albertson, and sisters, Barbara Williams and Ethel Smith. A Graveside Service celebrating the life of Danny Albertson will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at 2 PM at New Silver Brook Cemetery, with Rev. Allyson Helvie officiating. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, November 5, 2012, from 6 PM until 8 PM. The family would like to especially thank the staff of 4-Center at AnMed Health, the Infusion Center Staff and Dr. Winston Floyd, Dr. S. Batizy, Dr. William Buice and Dr. Steve McElveen for the loving care given their father during his illness and treatment.
