Danny Lee Brown, age 68, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born July 30, 1952 in Anderson County, SC, he was the son of the late Hoyt "James" Allman Bruce and Bessie Desiree Vaughn Bruce. Danny was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a strong family man. He formerly worked for Lockheed Martin and he lived on the water in his houseboat. He enjoyed catfishing and filming go cart racing. He is survived by his daughter, Gina Holmes; son, Daniel Brown; brothers, Roddy and Jeff Bruce; and grandchildren, J.J. Holmes, Calyx Holmes and Xy Holmes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Archie Bruce. A funeral service with military honors will be held at a later date at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
