He was a 1977 graduate of BHP High School and attended Furman University. Mr. Gambrell was employed for thirty-three years by Michelin in Greenville. He attended NewSpring Church and was formerly a member of both Shady Grove Baptist Church and Big Creek Baptist Church. He was an avid motorcyclist.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Heather McKee Gambrell, of Anderson; his daughter, Crystal G. Stein and husband, Michael, of Williamston; grandchildren: Kolbe, Marija, and Stephen Stein; sisters: Debbie Helvie of Anderson, and Donna Hall of Belton.The Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Burial will follow with an Honorary Motorcycle Escort to Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Belton. Anyone who rode with Danny is welcome to join the procession. The family is at the home of Mr. Gambrell's parents, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, P.O.
