He was a former manager with American General Insurance Company and was a member of the United States Army National Guard. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed collecting classic cars and antique toys. Mr. Landreth was a member of Living Water Church.Survivors include his wife, Kay Landreth of the home; daughter, Shannon Dannelle Landreth Essary and her husband, James of Williamston; son, Chad Dylan Landreth and his wife, Michael R. Landreth of Anderson; stepdaughter, Renee Gilreath and her husband, Troy of Anderson; stepson, Kent Clifton and his wife, Chasity of Vidalia, GA; stepdaughter, Candi Barnett and her husband, Tim of Vidalia, GA; stepdaughter, Leah Winton and her husband, Marc of Anderson; sister, Jean Michelitti of Overland Park, KS and sixteen grandchildren.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Living Water Church, New Hope Road, Anderson. The family will receive friends at Living Water Church from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Wednesday.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
