Danny Paul Murdock, age 64, of Anderson, SC passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at AnMed Health Medical Center. A son of the late Thurston Patrick "Pat" Murdock and Lila Marjorie "Margie" Garrett Murdock, he was born February 19, 1954 in Anderson where he lived all his life. Danny attended Orrville Baptist Church and was a blessing to everyone who met him. He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Gregory and Sandy Murdock of Piedmont, SC; a sister and brother-in-law, Julie and David Gillan of Baltimore, MD;a step-mother, Florence Murdock of Anderson, SC: a step-brother, Dale Ferrell of Anderson, SC; two step-sisters, Jane Outlaw of Williamston, SC and Tommie Lynn Ferrell of Belton, SC; an uncle, Jimmy Garrett of Denver, CO; and several nieces and nephews. The graveside service and inurnment will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Wendell Bannister and the Rev. Bob Marcaurelle officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Ellenburg Nursing Center, 611 E. Hampton St., Anderson, SC 29624.
