Harmon Danny Watters, loving husband of Cheryl Ruth Blake Watters for 49 years, age 73, passed away on December 17, 2017, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, CA, on February 10, 1944, he was the son of the late Harmon Watters and the late Irene Bolden Watters. Danny was assigned to a Military Police Unit in the United States National Guard serving a tour of duty in the Vietnam War. He began his career as a Detective for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department during which time he earned his Master's of Public Administration from Pepperdine University. He retired after 30 years of honorable service. In addition to his wife Cheryl, Danny is survived by his children, Chadney Blake Watters (Alli) of Simi Valley, CA, and Rachel Link (Kenny) of Kingsland, GA; sister, Linda Jean Freund (Jerry) of Sisters, OR; and 12 grandchildren, C.J., Shelby, Emily, Jesse, Chloe, Luke, Maddie, Jessica, Riley, Emry, Peighton, and Jaidyn.
