Darline Boswell Bray Anderson, SC Darline Boswell Bray, age 83, of Anderson, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Comer, GA, she was the daughter of the late Dallas Hoyt Boswell and the late Montene Smith Boswell. She worked in textiles during her career at J.P. Stevens. She attended Covenant Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Norman Bray, Jr. and his wife Dianne, of Anderson, SC; two daughters, Dyann Allen, of Anderson, SC and Kim McCraw and her significant other, Michael Gambrell, of Starr, SC; a brother, William Steve Boswell and his wife Annette, of Elberton, GA; four sisters, Sydney Jean Scarborough and her husband George Earl, of Elberton, GA, Shirley Hendricks, and her husband, John Marshall, of Watkinsville, GA, Eva Saxon and her husband Hubert, of Elberton, GA and Peggy Phillips and her husband Buddy, of Greenwood, SC; 6 grandchildren, Donna Unger, Wendi Scarborough, Eric Bray, Ian McCraw, Julien McCraw and Jim Bob Allen, 11 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Edley Bray, Sr.; a son, Jimmy Dale Bray; three sisters, Wilda Boswell, Brookie Boswell and Gladell Gabriel; and a brother, George Calvin Boswell. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Silvey officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of her son, Norman Bray, 208 Bristol Court, Anderson, SC 29625, and will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to Covenant Baptist Church, 4521 Liberty Hwy., Anderson, SC 29621.
