Davis, Jr., age 63, husband of Patsy Griffin Davis of 1115 Hickory Lane, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009.Born in Anderson County, SC on July 20, 1945, Mr. Davis was a son of the late Darvin Joseph Davis, Sr., and Ruth Mae Sanders Davis. He was retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas.Survivors include his wife, Patsy Griffin Davis of the home; four grandchildren; brother, Bill Davis of Starr; sisters, Nancy D. Hudgens of Anderson and Julia McClain of Belton.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Donald Davis and a sister, Beatrice Prock Ealum. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend James Patterson.
