David Alan Black, age 52 of Pendleton, SC passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC on December 20, 1965, Alan was a son of Grace Spoone Black and the late Bill Black, Sr. He is survived by his mother Grace Spoone Black; a son, Thomas Black of Kingstree, SC; a brother, William E. "Billy" Black, Jr and his wife Kim of Anderson, SC; sisters, Stephanie B. Berkey and her husband Scott of Hilton Head, SC and Patricia B. Swain of Easley, SC. The Graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Sunday, December 31, 2017, at 2:00pm with the Reverend Dwight Greene officiating. The family will be at the residence.
