David Barber, formerly of Austintown, OH, age 60, passed away on March 27, 2018, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Youngstown, OH on January 29, 1958, he was the son of the late Larry and Antonette Marr Barber. David was an account executive for General Parks Inc. for more than 36 years. He was very active in boy scouts and was camp leader of troop 115. He enjoyed playing Santa for various organizations and will be remembered by his friends and family as always being there when people needed him. He was a past member of Austintown Eagles Post 3298. David enjoyed flea markets, music, and computers. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Austintown, OH and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anderson, SC. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Manners Barber; a son, Zachery Barber; a brother, Dale Barber and his wife Ginger; a sister, Jacqueline Stout and her husband Kevin; and numerous nieces and nephews which he dearly loved. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Barber. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. The funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am with Father Philip Gillespie officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 N.
