David Theron Ford, age 63, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC, on February 25, 1953, he was the son of the late Theron Ralph Ford and the late Gertrude M. Cason Ford Rowland. He was an electrician during his career and worked for H.R. Allen Electrical Contractors and Isom Electric. David enjoyed hunting and fishing and the simple pleasures in life. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his children, David C. Ford, and Casey Diane Ford; three brothers, Herbert, Tommy, and Kenneth Ford; and two grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Griffin; and a brother, Billy Ford. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, August 4, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
