David Scott Goss, age 75, of Pendleton, SC, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at his home.

Born August 1, 1949, in Seneca, SC, he was a son of the late Lester Goss and Nora Youngblood Brooks.

For David, affectionately called "Booboo", his grandchildren and great grandchildren were the loves of his life. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed fishing, boating, cooking, and being with his family. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Debra Swaney Goss; son, Brian Goss (Tracy) of Westminster, SC; daughter, Michelle Bishop (Jason) of Pendleton, SC; brother, Jimmy Goss of Easley, SC; sister, Debbie Potter of Kinston, NC; grandchildren, Bailee Stewart of Anderson, SC, Brandon Goss (Cassidy) of Seneca, SC, Miracle Barnes (Daniel) of Pendleton, SC, Morgan Stewart of Pendleton, SC, and Taylor Williams (Greyson) of Seneca, SC; and great grandchildren, Blake and Brooks Goss, Corianna Cole, Ezekiel Barnes, and Zander Williams.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 11:30 am until 12:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Allen Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Clemson. The service will be livestreamed via the funeral home website and Facebook page.
