DAVID WILLIAM KLEIN February 4, 1915 - January 14, 2009ANDERSON, SCMr. David William Klein, age 93, was promoted to Glory on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at the Rainey Hospice House. He was formerly a resident of Morningside Assisted Living in Anderson.Born in Lima, Ohio on February 4, 1915, Mr. Klein was a son of the late Charles George and Minnie Derringer Klein. He was the husband of Ellen Louise Fuller Klein of NHC Health Care. They celebrated their 73rd Anniversary on Thanksgiving Day, 11-25-08. He was the co-founder of K's Hamburger Shop in 1935, retiring in 1965. He was instrumental in the development of Hunter's Funeral Home in Hollywood, FL. He served as a lay minister in the United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Richard David Klein and his wife, Carol of Stuart, FL; grandsons: Eric R. Gladman and wife, Amy of Evans, GA; Richard David Klein II and wife, Seanna of Stuart, FL; granddaughters, Kaaryn G. Tabone and husband, Frank of Fountain Inn, SC, Amy G. Williams and husband, Frank of Rock Hill, SC and Sandi K. Dummann and husband, Brian of Minneapolis, MN. Eleven great-grandchildren, a very special friend and caretaker Audrey Hardee of Anderson; four nieces, Phyllis K. Primm of Ashland, OH, Kathleen K. Mitchell of Gaithersburg, MD, Marcia K. Ryan of Troy, OH and Lynne K. Duncan of Lavonia, GA.Mr. Klein was preceded in death by his parents, his loving daughter, Sinah Klein Mullikin, brothers, and their wives; identical twin, Paul and Doris Klein; George and Carol Klein; Harold and Pauline Klein and a niece, Lois K. Wiener.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at 4:00 pm at the Forest Lawn Mausoleum Chapel, Anderson, SC. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 18, 2009 from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.The family will be at their respective homes.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club, P.O.
