NEALJuly 13, 1938 - December 16, 2006STARR, SCFLAG Mr. David Lee Neal, age 68, husband of Donna Lee Strom Neal, of 1760 Agnew Road, Starr, SC, died Saturday, December 16, 2006 at North Greenville Hospital, Travelers Rest, SC.Born in Carlinville, IL, on July 13, 1938, Mr. Neal was a son of the late Stanley Neal and Ester Walters Neal. He was retired from Gordon's Distillery and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Palmyra, IL. Mr. Neal was a United States Marine Corps veteran and served in the Vietnam War.Survivors include, his wife, Donna Lee Strom Neal of the home; sons, John Neal and Jim Neal of Starr, SC; daughters, Catherine Neal Crago and Mary Neal Margentina of Joliet, IL; a brother, Mark Elrod of Pana, IL and a sister, Joyce Beck of Chester, IL. Four grandchildren also survive.The Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at 11:00 am at the family farm in Starr, SC officiated by the Reverend Gary Bill.
