Obituary

David Allen Rodgers passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026. Born October 9, 1964, he leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory.

He is survived by his father, Stan Rodgers; his sister, Cheryl Dizdar; his four children, Devin Rodgers (Emily), Danielle Hankins (Clint), Dusti-Ann Burgan (Matt), and Dylan Rodgers; and his six beautiful grandchildren, Noah Hankins, Aubrey Hankins, Wyatt Rodgers, Hudson Burgan, Elizabeth Rodgers, and Riley-Ann Hankins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Helena Hilda Szczygielski Rodgers.

Dave was the kind of person who could always bring a smile to someone's face. He had a heart for helping others and was always willing to lend a hand whenever someone needed it. His kindness, humor, and willingness to be there for others made him special to the people who knew and loved him.

Though he will be deeply missed, the love he shared, the smiles he brought, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of his family and everyone whose life he touched. His legacy will continue through his children, grandchildren, and all those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Forever loved, always remembered, and never forgotten.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 11:00 am at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly welcomes donations toward meaningful memorial keepsakes in honor of their beloved dad. These keepsakes will serve as lasting reminders of the love, memories, and the legacy he leaves behind for his children and grandchildren. Your thoughtfulness and support mean so much to the family during this difficult time. Donations can be made through Venmo @Danielle-Hankins-4 or directly to the family.
