WILSONJULY 13, 1950 - OCTOBER 13, 2009PIEDMONT, SC ' David DeWitt Wilson, age 59, of Shiloh Road, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2009.Born in Anderson, SC, on July 13, 1950, he was the son of the late Charlie DeWitt Wilson and Gladys Gaillard Wilson. He graduated from Parker High School and Furman University. Mr. Wilson was a Computer Analyst with Resurgent Capital Services and formerly employed with Wangner Corporation. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Easley.David had a variety of pastimes ' he especially enjoyed spending time with his family and beloved cats, Sunny & Snowball. He enjoyed traveling the world and the many friendships made through his travels.Survivors include his many cousins, Joan Smith of North Augusta, Betty Burdett of Piedmont, Jimmy Wilson of Piedmont, Larry Gaillard of North Augusta, Joyce Burger of Taylors, Barbara Hempton of North Charleston, Frances Kowalski of Piedmont, Peggy Merck of Piedmont, and Ronald Wilson of Dudley, GA.The Funeral Service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, October 16, 2009, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church conducted by the Reverend Dave Shorter and Dr. Randolph Kowalski. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.The family is at the home of Edward & Betty Burdett, 301 Shiloh Road, Piedmont, and will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at Mt.
