DEBBIE JACKSON November 10, 1951 - October 22, 2012 Deborah Wallace Jackson, age 60, of 154 Shipyard Circle, passed away at her residence on Monday, October 22, 2012. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of Dr. Joseph E. Wallace of Columbia and the late Elizabeth Mullen Wallace. Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker who was devoted to her family. She was known as an excellent cook and was very sociable. She was a friend to many. Mrs. Jackson was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Anderson. In addition to her father, she is survived by her devoted husband, George W. Jackson of the residence; 2 daughters, Claudia Jackson Sandifer and her husband, Kevin, of Columbia, Catherine C. "Cece" Jackson of San Francisco, CA; 1 brother, Joseph E. "Buddy" Wallace, Jr., and his wife, Sally, of Rockford, IL; 2 grandchildren, Tyler and Mary Mullen Sandifer of Columbia. A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Debbie Jackson will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012, at 2 PM at the McDougald Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Dennis Tedder officiating. Interment will be held at a later time in the Wallace Family Plot at Elmwood Cemetery in Columbia. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at their home following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials for Mrs. Jackson may be made to Clean Start, 219 Townsend St., Anderson, SC 29622.
