Deborah Imogene Allred Patterson, affectionately known as "Maw Maw", age 69, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Sumter, SC on December 20, 1949, she was the daughter of Imogene Ozmint Allred Terry, of Iva, SC and the late James E. Allred. She was a graduate of Pendleton High School, class of 1967. She retired from Anderson School District 3 and Smiley's Caf. Debbie was a friend to many whom she loved without limits. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Iva. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 49 years, Larry Patterson; her beloved daughter, Gena Patterson Hawkins and her husband Joey; four grandchildren, Brett A. Hawkins (Bryanna), Ike Hawkins, Hunter Hawkins, and Lagen Hawkins; a mother-in-law, Jocille Patterson; a sister-in-law, Lynn Austin, her husband Graham and her daughter, Jody. The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Iva on Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Reverends Jerry Gray and Joey Hawkins officiating.
